HOW TO MAKE COCONUT OIL HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE CAKE

Ingredients You Need

  •  3 Cups All Purpose FLour
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons Rodelle Baking Cocoa
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 Cup Coconut Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Vinegar
  • 2 Cups Cold Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Rodelle Vanilla

  • InstructionsStep 1 – Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees

    Step 2 – In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt together and set to the side

    Step 3 – In a stand mixer, mix the coconut oil, vinegar, vanilla and water until smooth

    Step 4 – Add the flour mixture slowly to the wet ingredients

    Step 5 – Pour the mixture into two 9 inch pans that have been coated with spray

    Step 6 – Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.  Allow the cakes to cool before frosting.

    HOW TO MAKE THE CHOCOLATE FROSTING

    Ingredients You Need

    •  1 Cup Softened Butter
    • 1/4 Cup Rodelle Baking Cocoa
    • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
    • 1 Teaspoon Rodelle Vanilla

    Instructions

    Mix all ingredients together until the frosting is light and fluffy.  Spread over your cake!
